Position Summary: Responsibilities include Integrated Master Planning/Integrated Master Scheduling detail development, monitoring, recommend corrective action. Provide support to all function in establishing meaningful events, accomplishments and criteria. Support EVMS reporting/analysis.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide expertise in developing plans and procedures in implementing a standard IMP/IMS approach
Creation of detailed IMP/IMS on all major programs
The establishment of a working Work Breakdown Structure, the mapping and integration of statements of work, and the incorporation of appropriate criteria for measuring Earned Value
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Position will initially require supervision of the cost analyst team
Position will expand to include a team of additional IMP/IMS personnel
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
Direct experience and hands on capability in all aspects of IMP/IMS
Ability to interface with program teams and lead teams to the desired IMP/IMS structure
Strong MS Project skills, familiarity with Risk + or @Risk including Pert Chart Xpert
Must have a good understanding of earned value concepts and integrated cost/schedule management
Must be able to work independently, be a self starter and able to work cooperatively with technical, business and program office leadership
Proactive interface skills, strong teamwork ethics and the ability to provide surge support during critical exercises
Proficiency in standard MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Goals and Objectives:
Education and/or Experience:
B.S. in Engineering or Business
8-15 years planning/scheduling experience within the Defense industry; MS/MBA can offset 5 years of required experience
On the Job Training Required:
Experience using RTP and/or Cobra a plus
Experience using Project Server a plus
Six Sigma experience is a plus
