BCF Solutions is currently looking to pull together a team of Schedulers (MS Project) to support a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program in the National Capital Region.
Candidates that are interested will be asked to support the following activities:
Candidates will be asked to prepare and maintain an automated IMS. We will deliver an IMS, in MS Project, with at least three levels of sufficient definition to allow for tracking the completion of scheduled events, duration, and inter-relationships between events. We will baseline the IMS and we will provide monthly updates to reflect the execution and completion of scheduled events.
We will also provide a WBS (Work Breakdown Structure). The WBS shall be baselined with the delivery of the Contract Management Plan and we will provide monthly updates.
Schedule estimating for the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and individual project schedules shall follow GAO?s recommended nine best practices and include
1) capturing of activities
2) sequencing all activities
3) assigning resources to all activities
4) establishing the duration of all activities
5) integrating schedule activities horizontally and vertically
6) establishing the critical path of all activities
7) identifying float between activities
8) conducting a schedule risk analysis
9) updating the schedule using topic duration to determine dates.
