Big-company reach, small-company attitude! AAI Corporation, an operating unit of Textron Systems, is currently recruiting for an Associate Program Master Scheduler. Incumbent in this position works to develop and maintain program Integrated Master Plan & Integrated Master Schedule using Microsoft Project. Will integrate all program activities including program management, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly and test through sell-off into the master plan. Responsible for developing logic, predecessors, and successors to develop the critical path for a program. Applies schedule performance metrics to schedule documents to produce reports. Works with assigned coaches to improve schedule, Earned Value, and risk management techniques. Follows company processes in performance of job.
Required Skills Have general knowledge of Program Management principles and techniques, including Critical Path concepts, Risk Management principles, and Budget and Earned Value principles.
Strong written and oral communications skills. Strong negotiation and interpersonal relations skills with all levels of personnel including fellow schedulers, program team members, program mangers and directors, and direct managers. Ability to gather, analyze, and summarize data to develop appropriate actions. Can apply basic MS Office Suite Skills to create simple worksheets in Excel and apply formulas, functions, charts, formatting, and basic Excel-based metrics; develop basic PowerPoint presentations; and apply paragraph and text formatting, build tables, and process word documents. Access & Visio knowledge useful.
Has introductor abilities using MS Project to create a single project; create a task list, set up resources, and assign resources to tasks; format and print a project plan, standard views, and standard reports; apply % complete to tasks; sort, filter, and group data; and change views and tables.
Required Experience One year of experience with MS Office suite & introductory knowledge of MS Project or other scheduling tools. One year of experience or equivalent education in program management, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
