Person in this role will be responsible for coordination, development, and implementation of the Program Integrated Master Plans / Master Schedules to ensure contract deliveries are met. Reports administratively to Manager, Program Planning & Scheduling. Other duties include:
Develops and maintains the Program Integrated Master Plan/Schedule from the Request for Proposal (RFP) or contract delivery requirements.
Integrates all program activities including program management, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, and test through sell-off into the master plan.
Establishes logic, predecessors, and successors to develop critical path for program.
Develops, updates, and maintains schedule performance metrics, related processes, and management tools within the business units, including, but not limited to, critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment.
Advises the Program Manager and Control Account Managers on schedule performance, forecasts, and risks.
Identifies, negotiates, and resolves conflicts between the stakeholders in the Master Planning/Scheduling process.
Uses experience and process knowledge to coach various individuals in appropriate budget and schedule planning and earned value processes.
Industry knowledge of basic program management execution and theory.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to gather, analyze, and summarize data to develop appropriate actions.
Strong negotiating and interpersonal relations skills.
Strong knowledge of processes and procedures.
Intermediate experience with MS Project or other scheduling programs.
Excellent PC skills (MS Office Suite).
Required Experience Prefer five years of experience working in program management, engineering, or manufacturing environment with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job duties. Requires minimum one year experience using MS Project.
