| Victoria Weaver Management Group, Inc., a small growth oriented consulting firm located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Controls Consultant (Estimator). The ideal candidate must have experience in:
o Performing detailed quantity take-offs o Soliciting pricing and validating unit costs o Assembling detailed cost estimates o Analyzing risk and quantifying contingency o Conceptual cost estimating o Parametric cost estimating o Estimate and contractor proposal reconciliations o Life cycle cost analysis REQUIREMENTS (Only Qualified Candidates Need Apply) o Minimum 5 years General or Mechanical/Electrical Estimating experience - Candidate must have a high level of proficiency in developing detailed quantity based estimates - Only persons with hands-on estimating experience need apply o Strong Verbal and Written skills - VWMG engagements typically interface with Client Senior Management and require strong communication skills to effectively manage client expectations o Strong Project Management Skills (technical and analytical) coupled with a high-level of proficiency in estimating and cost engineering o Above average skills in data based estimating applications (Success, Timberline, et al) PREFERENCES o Professional Certification ? Certified Cost Engineer (CCE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred o International estimating experience desirable o B.S. degree in engineering preferred o Field experience desirable Incorporated in 1992, VWMG offers a flexible work schedule (work from home, flex time, part time) and environment, competitive salaries, full company paid medical and dental, competitive holiday and vacation packages, and retirement planning packages.
