The Planning/Scheduling Advisor role is part of the Strategy, Planning and Optimization (SP&O) in the OneSJV well factory and reports to the Integrated Schedule & Project Controls team.
SJVBU executes ~500 new wells and associated facilities on an annual basis.
This position will interact directly with functional teams (D&C, Asset Development- subsurface development, subsurface optimization, Facilities, Permitting, Operations, and Abandonment) to acquire schedule information efficiently and produce value adding analysis of execution plans.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage the schedule in Primavera P6 for Asset Development Wells, Base Wells, and well facilities scopes
Engage key stakeholders across all functions to ensure accurate data flows to the I/S
Explore improvement opportunities to load data into the I/S
Develop procedures for efficient data entry into the scheduling function
Provide timely reports and perform sensitivity analysis on the schedule to assist in decision-making
Develop, organize and maintain planning / scheduling documentation
Facilitate schedule planning sessions with functional teams
Maintain interface with IT support and Primavera user network
Collaborate with the Project Controls Analyst to generated monthly Value of Work Done and Outlook (Forecast)
Critical Selection Criteria:
Experience:
High school diploma GED required.
Scheduling an upstream drilling program, 5+ yours experience required
Experience with Standard Project Management Processes and using Primavera P6, applying CPMS/PM Processes to small projects, planning/scheduling practices, and optimizing resource allocation required
Experience with large volumes of data using SQL database and creating visuals using Power BI or equivalent required
Strong MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Visio experience
Strong analytical skills with ability to highlight gaps and develop collaborative solutions
Leadership and Effectiveness: Ability to effectively interface-coordinate work between multiple functions. Must be an effective communicator with very good oral, listening and writing skills.
Planning and Initiative: Demonstrated strong organization and facilitation skills. Ability to prioritize and focus a group?s efforts on the critical activities. Must work independently with little supervision.
