The Assistant Scheduler will perform tasks related to the collection of schedule data required to monitor project progress within an assigned Region or Division. Additionally, they will assist in developing and monitoring schedules and reporting variances from established deadlines.
The Assistant Scheduler will develop an understanding of business components and implications specific to scheduling for Construction Companies. This role assists in ensuring compliance with the Henkels & McCoy established Project Management Methodology and upholds H&M safety and quality management protocols.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and updating the project schedule and weekly look-ahead plans.
Maintain and monitor progress tracking tools in Excel and create reports to meet project and customer needs.
Interface with and collect schedule/progress data from field personnel.
Effectively communicate within assigned project team.
Attend progress meeting
Support telecom Project Manager and PMO in all phases of projects as needed
Qualifications
2 years? experience working in a Project Management team environment, preferably in the construction industry.
Must have ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments/responsibilities.
Strong organizational skills
Thrives in a detail-oriented and deliverable-driven environment.
Highly comfortable with MS Office, especially Excel.
Experience in MS Project or Primavera P6 a plus.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management a plus.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.
