  Job Description:            
    Harvest Technical Services is looking for a Project Controls Specialist for a major biopharmaceutical company in the Pacific Northwest.


Duties:

Track contract and PO remaining balance for Tech Transfer Project Management Team.
Support preparation of monthly project forecasts, including commitment, planned purchases, contingency, and final forecasted values by WBS.
Close PO?s with Cap Finance.
Ensure all closeout objectives are met and assist Project Managers with the financial aspects of Project Closeout Reports and supporting documentation (AIS Forms, updated NPC etc).
Support Project Management Team in maintaining the project portfolio financials, including the tracking and reporting for individual projects and in summary.
Work with Project Managers and Department Managers, assisting/guiding in the Project Budget, Forecast and Change Order process throughout the life of the Project.
Generate and maintain Cost Reports for the Tech Transfer Project Team.
Reviews project spends to ensure proper coding of transactions and submit Journal Entries when applicable.
Update and maintain documentation on the Project Portfolio site.
Process Credit Apps in Touchpoint (ensure forms are accurate, align with approved budget and have all necessary documentation).
Route and track project change control requests and update approved changes to budget, schedule, scope.
Use of Replicon software to Create and train new users.
Maintain and update the Replicon User Guide, Replicon Admin Guide and Portfolio Manager Guide.
Create, archive and close projects.
Update Replicon with Functional Prioritization.
Generate Project Details Report by Portfolio for all Portfolio Managers.
Upon completion of the Quarterly Site Prioritization Process code all projects in the system and ensure site prioritization is accurately updated.
Assist Project Managers with initial resource and/or funding inputs.
Ensure alignment between Replicon and 10 Point Checklist (CapEx Score, NPC, Project sponsor etc).
Ensure alignment between employee and department.
Monthly Project Status.
New Projects.
Closed and Cancelled Projects.
Update Project Templates.
Debug JMP script errors.
Create the agenda, generate and document IMPACT Meeting Minutes.
Update and maintain IMPACT Documentation / Data Sources.
Ensure that the IMPACT Calendar contains relevant information to support meeting IMPACTs objectives (i.e meetings, agenda items, Racetrack items & Project Portfolio Management Cycles).
Maintain distribution list and IMPACT Related Web Pages (IMPACT Web Page and Project Portfolio Web Page).
Project Management.
Executes the Project Portfolio Management process and Portfolio Tools.
Accountable for scope, schedule, and budget of assigned projects.
Monitors project performance information.

Skills:

Understand simple WBS structures Advanced excel, some SAP front end experience.
Replicon or other Portfolio Management Software Experince.
JMP Script debugging/coding.
3-7 years finance or project controls experience.

Education:

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree.
