| Job #4995: Multiple Project Controls Positions - Underground Utility Projects in NYC
The Spear Group has multiple potential Project Controls positions of varying experience for an A&E client working on multiple underground electric Transmission and Substation projects for Con Ed in New York City. This is a long term contract assignment with our A&E client. ***LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. NO PER DIEM OFFERED. The Project Controls Specialist will assist Project Controls Lead in creating and/or maintaining working schedules and cost forecasts for multiple Capital Projects. Will be required to go to construction sites to meet with current project managers/inspectors to get an understanding of the work and processes to help better set up the schedule templates and cost estimates. Requirements: The candidate must have experience in construction scheduling and Earned Value Management (EVM). Utility, heavy construction and/or large project experience preferred. Demonstrated experience with Excel, Visio and Primavera mandatory. Primavera P6 preferred. Must be detail oriented and organized. Must be experienced in tracking, controlling and reporting on multiple schedules and budgets. Must have an understanding about task dependencies, work packages, critical paths, work breakdown structure and process flow, resources loaded schedules and forecasting. |
