Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and coordinate Scheduling and other Controls for power station construction projects.
Develop and review project estimates and schedules.
Monitor actual project cost and/or work status data to ensure projects proceed on schedule and within budget and provide status reports to management.
Develop and review O&M and capital budgets and analyze monthly cost reports.
Assist in training lower-level controls personnel.
Implement, evaluate and monitor controls systems.
Coordinate use of controls equipment and facilities.
Conduct meetings with contractors and company personnel on cost control matters.
Act as lead controls discipline representative to major projects.
Interface and coordinate with other corporate and station groups.
Establish and implement cost and planning control policy and procedures for power station construction project.
This specific position will be in the area project scheduling activities to support Millstone station recovery efforts.
Requirements:
The Nuclear Scheduler must have experience in construction scheduling preferrbly in Nuclear Power.
Demonstrated recent Nuclear experience with Primavera P6 in plant heavy construction and/or large capital project experience preferred.
Must be detail oriented and organized.
Must be experienced in tracking, controlling and reporting on multiple schedules.
Must have an understanding about task dependencies, work packages, critical paths, work breakdown structure and process flow.
