| BLACKROCK RESOURCES is looking for a LEAD COST for our clients in Union West Virginia. This DIRECT HIRE opportunity will be preforming Reduction Cost for their department projects.
*Lead the development of program plans, schedules and budgets, track and report performance to these plans and budgets and measure and drive performance of the team to execute to original schedule and budget *Risk assessment and management including identifying problems and concerns within the organization that impact or have the potential to impact program performance *Responsibility to meet Program milestones and deliveries *Lead program teams providing guidance to all support areas including engineering, purchasing, contracts, manufacturing and quality *Manage the program to the committed program budget *Preparation and presentation of reviews and status reports to Sensors & Integrated Systems and UTC Aerospace Systems management *Overall lead for roll-up and administration of the projects listed in the cost reduction database including: -Review/guidance with each project lead to ensure information in dbase is timely and accurately updated -Validate the cost savings realization in the P&L by working with the finance function -Consolidated reporting/review and proactive status provided to management team on overall position of cost reduction versus budget -Support and reporting into the Monthly Cost Summits *Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, risk management and business case preparation *Ability to manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team to meet program commitments *Enthusiastic, energetic team player willing to do a variety of tasks *Excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills *Education / Certifications -BS/BA degree in engineering or related discipline or business Minimum of 6-10+ years? experience in Program Management/Project Engineering -Master's degree w/4-7+ years of related experience -PhD degree w/2-4+ years of related experience *Experience / Qualifications *Minimum of 4 years Program Management or Project Engineering experience w/Bachelors or 2 years w/Masters IDEAL CANDIDATE need the following key skill sets. Strong project management skills to include identifying and scoping a project. Person needs good facilitation skills to help lead, focus team and monitor results. Person needs to have some business experience in understanding impact of decisions. Person should have good presentation skills and professional image. If they have previous work transfer out\in to a production plant would be helpful. Strong data and database management skills. A limited quality background or have worked closely with quality \ operations teams in scrap\rework reduction projects. |
