As requested by its client, Advoco is seeking a Night-Shift Outage Scheduler to support the implementation of a P6 schedule at the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant, NY.

The role reports to the Project Manager and interfaces with Field Engineers and customer scheduler; duties would include managing a CPM schedule, collection and reporting of schedule updates and updating the customer Syntempo work order system.

The role commences March 6 and is estimated to complete April 9, 2017; the first week would be 40-hours day-shift with the remainder of the engagement on night-shift basis.

Candidates should possess:-
Experience with Syntempo Work Order System
Demonstrable experience in scheduling nuclear outage involving turbine equipment.
Strong understanding and ability to use Primavera P6 project scheduling software and methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple tasks within a project from conception to completion.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to clearly present concepts to all third parties.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Self-starter and physically comfortable in an outage environment with relatively lean staff.
Understand and recognize the requirements to obtain un-escorted access to a nuclear plant.
OSHA 10 certification
