    JOB #4815: Senior P6 Scheduler - Pharmaceutical Capital Projects

Description:
The Spear Group has a need for a Sr. P6 Scheduler to support the Merck West Point, PA plant for a for multiple capital projects as well as their plant in Minnesota for a $20MM freeze dryer replacement.

Details:
Base: West Point, PA based. Some business travel may be required to Minnesota
Duration: 2 Years+
Per Diem: Available, West Point is $588 per week.
Trips Home: Available, 2 per month ($700 max per trip)
M/D: Available, capped at $700 max each way by expense report.
Manager is looking for someone to focus on some Project Scheduling in Primaver P6; must be seasoned scheduler with relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities:
Use Primavera P6 and Excel to generate performance reports and customized status reports, identifying and reconciling discrepancies with the project schedule/plan.
Develop, implement, perform, and guide earned value management (EVM) policies, procedures, and practices.
Develop dashboard reports to communicate master production schedule performance.
Gather and validate scheduling information from multiple groups both within and outside project team.
Resource load schedules and provide utilization analysis.
Identify schedule opportunities and potential slippages as they arise.
Provide critical path analysis and present critical path activities within schedules.

Requirements:
BS in Engineering or Science related field preferred or relevant experience.
Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech Manufacturing Environment
5+ years of experience in Scheduling preferably in a Construction environment.
Strong to Excellent understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations.
Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6
