  Job Description:            
    The Eden Consulting Group has provided expert-level Project and Program Management advice and support for Federal programs since 1996. ECG is hiring a Senior Planning & Scheduling Engineer to provide support on a large program with the United States Census Bureau in the Washington DC Metro Area. This project supports the Decennial Management Division (DMD) in an effort to successfully prepare for and then execute the 2020 Decennial Census.

The Senior Planning & Scheduling Engineer will work within a cross functional team that includes project managers, project planners, risk management specialists, budgeting specialists, quality control specialists; other critical staff members. Primavera P6 will be the primary scheduling software used in this position. Activities scheduled on this program will be operations specific to United States Census Bureau's mission. Ability to effectively collaborate and work well in a team environment is vital to being a success in this role.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 7 years experience supporting schedule management.

- Proficiency in use of Primavera P6 Planning & Scheduling software.

- Strong experience developing and managing integrated master schedules (IMS) and their supporting lower level schedules.

- Experience in defining and maintaining the baseline schedule files.

- Demonstrated ability to lead a schedule development effort, generate schedule reports, and perform critical path analyses.

- Strong written and oral communication skills are required.

- Completed Bachelor's degree is required.

- PMI-SP, PMP, or PSP certification is preferred.
