Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Project Controls team in North Florida. The Senior Scheduler role will be located at FDOT's onsite location in Lake City, FL.

Provide scheduling support on transportation (roadway, highway) projects from the conceptual design stage through construction, to help meet contract schedules. Assist project managers in troubleshooting scheduling and budgeting problems prior to occurrence. Extensive engagement in the five year work program master schedule development and maintenance involving multiple projects district wide.

Job Details:
- Maintain all projects schedules for jobs within the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Five Year Work program to reflect their current status. This includes the addition or deletion of activities, changing activity durations, logic networks and modifying project or activity codes.
- Coordinate with Central Office to ensure compatibility and integrity of scheduling information uploaded daily to the mainframe Project Scheduling Management System.
- Create, and generate reports from Primavera, Access, Excel and the Department?s mainframe, for distribution to District directors, Department managers, project managers and staff as requested.
- Create forecast reports to project resource needs using Primavera, PSM, and/or Mainframe.
- Create reports and charts to aid in distribution of projects by work mix by Fiscal Year.
- Create reports indicating projects of concern and projects that may be advanced in the Five Year Work Program.
- Create and edit logic driven scheduling templates as well as the creation and development of initial Primavera schedules for all projects within the District.

Qualifications:
- Minimum experience of five (5) years in project scheduling using Primavera Planner P6.
- Florida Department of Transportation project level experience.
- Experience preparing schedules (including baseline schedules), analyzing schedules and preparing what-if scenarios, review of critical path activities
- Experience creating reports in P6.
- Excellent communication skills
- Project and Client Management experience a must.
- Team player with commitment to quality and timely work deliverables.
- Master Scheduler experience a plus.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with 7 years' relevant experience; 6 years' experience required with Master's degree; or 10 years' experience in project control or cost analysis with an Associates Degree.
