  Job Description:            
    We are looking for Project Controls Specialists and Project Planner/Schedulers. These roles will support Government Related Projects and Programs. The scopes of the projects can range from simple to complex. The programs require multi-discipline construction experience.
The detailed responsibilities of this role require solid strength in planning, scheduling, schedule quality control and analysis, managing complex integrated schedules, earned value, and reporting, as well as strong communication skills to facilitate meetings with cross-functional groups. The Planner/Scheduler role will require scheduling to be performed using Primavera (P6) to produce resource loaded schedules, progress reporting and project analysis. Extensive experiences in developing and implementing EVM in compliance with ANSI/EIA-748-B Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) for significant projects is required.

Detailed Responsibilities:
Perform as Owner?s Scheduling Representative for capital projects and programs, working closely with the on-site EPC Contractors
Development and coordination of integrated baseline EPC schedule.
Develop Schedule Management SOP.
Review updating and analysis of integrated EPC schedule - critical path, forecast completion dates, areas of concern, status of key milestones, etc. Provide feedback to PM for evaluation.
Support Schedule Risk Analysis. Baseline analysis and periodic updates as required.
Develop Schedules compliant with ANSI/EIA-748-B Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Assist PM with development and coordination of construction schedules, ensure correct logic ties to A/E and construction deliverables within integrated schedule.
Assist PM with evaluation of reported construction progress and status of critical activities in the field. Review productivity data and remaining schedule activity durations.
Establish metrics for evaluating progress.
Evaluate status against baseline schedule; provide analysis for assessment.
Assist PM with the tracking of commitments/expenditures and forecasting of any Owner procured Equipment not under construction firms? responsibility.
Develop and Manage executive status reports.
Assess EPC Schedule and make recommendations for improvements.
Perform QA/QC on all submitted schedules.
Prepare monthly reports for Projects/Programs.
Prepare overall project schedule status slides for monthly Principals/Sponsors meetings (if required).
Maintain project reporting calendar and financial month end dates.
Develop and Implement EVM

Qualifications:
Strong communication and presentation capabilities: written and verbal
Demonstrate a team spirit and strong dedication to success of the team.
Multiple large-scale complex project experience or program experience, $100MM+.
Advanced knowledge in the construction of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.
Advanced knowledge and experience in Primavera Project Planner and MS Project.
A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or significant equivalent experience.
A minimum of seven years relevant experience as a Project Scheduler in projects requiring full compliance with ANSI/EIA-748-B.
The ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and projects.
Experience in the operation of fully compliant ANSI/EIA-748-B Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
The ability to obtain a Department of Energy "Q" security clearance.

Education and Training:
Relevant Construction Experience 10+ years and Primavera Experience 7+ years
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Any certification from PMI or AACE is beneficial
