| BlackRock Resources is looking for a Director of Project Management for their client in Delaware.
This position plays a critical leadership role in the organization building strategy to meeting organizational goals, build strategic vision and alignment, and converting vision into performance. The Director of Project Management will provide day-to-day project management support to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget and achieves business goals as set forth by Strategic Development or Business units. Essential Functions: ? Provides engineering and environmental support and due diligence for development and operating projects. ? Support may include regulatory and environmental remediation assessments and development of long term mitigation measures. ? Engineering support includes design and construction estimates for combined heat and power, compressed natural gas, liquid natural gas and associated infrastructure. ? This role will participate in the five-year strategic planning process in partnership with the VP of Strategic Development. ? Will provide a strategic perspective and when necessary assist in the delivery of critical business plan initiatives, and defining and assessing, and developing strategic products for deployment in the Company?s business. ? Support the organization in the execution of complex strategic plans and initiatives. ? Implement strategy partnering with business units. Instill strategic leadership and thinking culture within the overall Company. ? Explore and develop implementation of long-range planning and development (5-10 years potential) to ensure future growth. ? Ensure investment opportunities and strategic planning of new business, strategic relationships, direct P&L performance, execute business strategies to ensure business budgets and financial goals are met. ? Anticipate and react quickly to trends and changes in performance ? Master?s Degree in business or related concentration. Or industry experience equivalent. ? 5 - 10 years of relevant project management and development experience. ? Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including: Strategic and systems-thinking skills; Problem solving; Consistent delivery of results to the satisfaction of internal and external customers; Partnership, developing dynamic, constructive working relationships ? Action-orientation, primary focus on project management for opportunities in our stated strategic growth initiatives. Open, collaborative leadership style that promotes integrity and continuous improvement. Demonstrates the highest ethical standards and always places the needs of the organization above personal agenda. ? Broad knowledge, strong business acumen and intellectual horsepower with demonstrated ability to find the value proposition in each project; ability to analyze and evaluate the political, social and technological implications affecting a project or decision; willingness and confidence to disagree with superiors; a constructive challenges. |
