  Job Description:            
    This position will be home based in the Edwardsport, IN area supporting the Edwardsport IGCC site.

This position will be home based in the Edwardsport, IN area supporting the local site. Some plant and field involvement will be required, which will require climbing and exposure to operating plant environments. This position will be responsible for developing plans that facilitate work execution on outages and long term projects. Primarily functioning in a scheduler role and integrating the work management process into the pre-planning and execution phases of outage work. This position will also facilitate process improvements to make work plans more productive and cost competitive. This position will communicate regularly with the Supervisors and Equipment Experts/Owners to ensure job plans are up to date and improved and that work is being planned according to the appropriate priorities. At times support of job planning efforts is expected.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop Project Schedule in compliance with PMCoE standard PJM-00009-ENTSTD, attachment B.
- Organize, implement and maintain scheduling management system (P6, MS Project, etc) structure to support identified projects and their plans.
- Coordinate with project managers, project engineers, and contractors to create activities to the required level of detail to ensure satisfactory realization of project contract requirements as scheduled.
- Interact with customer and project staff to coordinate work and identify any conflicts with other work being performed.
- Analyzing resources (time, tools, & materials) necessary for efficient completion of job.
- Research, plan, and improve upon work orders to meet station availability and reliability goals
- Work to develop aggressive job plans that factor in past lessons and process improvements
- Interact with project team to update detailed schedules and incorporate any changes to the plan sequence that have been identified.
- Coordinate pre-outage scope change request process and interface with outage manager, project managers, and station liaisons to determine criticality of adding work to scope and implementing in existing schedule
- Coordinate in-outage emergent work and tracking process to ensure all approved requests/findings are implemented and completed (or alternatives generated) before end of outage
- Create and Maintain Project (original) and Weekly baselines in order to track impacts caused by deviations to the plan.
- Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas.
- Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.
- Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.
- Coordinate with Outage/Project managers to create and Distribute project reports regularly in accordance with the Outage / Project managers direction.
- Load schedule activities with associated resources for analysis and resource leveling when required to help resource utilization.
- Set up, support, and Review Team Member update entry when requested.

Basic Qualifications:
- 2 year degree ? business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent and 2+ Years? experience. OR 5+ Years? experience in lieu of degree
- Working Knowledge / Proficiency with project management / project controls concepts / computer applications such as scheduling software, financial tools, spreadsheets; proven collaborative team member

Desired Qualifications:
- 4 year degree ? business, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent
- Licenses, certifications or registrations:
***PMI or AACE certification (the following or equivalent are acceptable - PMP, PMI-SP, AACE-PSP, AACE-EVP)
- Demonstrated Primavera P-6 scheduling software expertise
- Demonstrated experience with schedule integration of multiple projects
- Demonstrated ability and previous experience in understanding, interpreting, communicating and analyzing financial data
- At least 5 years of Utility Plant or Refinery/Petro Chemical experience Moderate to advanced working knowledge of large industrial equipment
- Experience at a PSM facility Experience with EMax, Maximo, or other work management system
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task Potential exposure to high stress situations.
