Job Description:
	Position Title: MEP Construction Manager Project Location: Doha, Qatar Qualifications: ? Bachelor or Master?s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited engineering school. ? Must possess superior engineering skills. ? Must be Western Educated ? Must have advanced knowledge of Mechanical Engineering be familiar with applicable codes, standards and acceptable industry practices ? Strong verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents. Experience Required ? 15-20 years of previous experience working at a Senior level overseeing large teams on a number of large mega projects. ? Vertical/Horizontal Transportation Systems (VHTS = lifts/escalators/travelator), ? Building Automation and Control System (BACS), ? Centralized Cooling experience for some of the MEP positions. ? Knowledge of the standards and the applicable regulations in force. ? Knowledge of the technical problems related to the Mechanical construction activities. ? Experienced and working knowledge of above ground installation ? Experienced in pre-commissioning and package testing. General Description of Role & Responsibilities: ? Manages project issues and schedules ? Specifies and qualifies mechanical and electro-mechanical components ? Provides technical and operational leadership ? Works with technicians and engineers developing and testing equipment and systems ? Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions ? Supervise and direct a team of engineers, designers and support personnel ? Interact with all engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and clients ? Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager as needed ? Supports the Lead Engineer in the engineering and management functions required to successfully complete the project. ? Assists in the supervision of engineering, budgeting, and scheduling.
