  Job Description:            
    Harvest Technical Services is seeking a Junior Scheduler for our Greater San Francisco Bay Area Biotech client


Duties:

Create and analyze project schedules using MS Project software under the direct supervision of sr. scheduler for a portfolio of projects ranging from (USD)50K - (USD)1M. Projects include modifications to existing office, laboratory and cGMP space as well as new infrastructure projects.
Manage all data input in MS Project for multiple projects
Working with Contractors and Sub Contractors on daily basis
Prepare and Update monthly progress reports
Actively monitor and communicate any possible project issues that could delay the schedule
Actively work with project managers and construction firms to maintain schedule integrity and accuracy
Skills:

EIT Preferred
Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of Scheduling experience along with experience in the Construction Industry. Some experience working in a planning and scheduling position for engineering, procurement, maintenance and construction projects
Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications and construction contracting
Ability to review and understand engineering, procurement and construction schedule logic
Capable of producing from limited project information a conceptual schedule from initiation through to closeout; identify major phases through that timeline and be able to determine and discuss dependencies
Working closely with various disciplines in project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced without compromising your independence as a scheduler so you are in a position to advise project management on issues requiring judgment
Knowledge of system start-up sequences and major dependencies
Unfier knowledgeable preferred.
Skilled in MS Project Standard (versions 7 through 10 as well as current version)
Some cost engineering knowledge would be preferable
Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required
Pharmaceutical/Biotech project experience, including commissioning and validation activities, is preferred
Certification by AACE in planning/scheduling is preferred
Education:

BS Degree in Engineering or Business or related field; or demonstrated equivalent and related experience
