BlackRock Resources is looking for a Lead Operations Analyst for their client in Pittsburgh. This individual would be responsible for data collection, forecasting of production schedules, and capital expenditures.The analyst will coordinate with multiple departments such as Operations, Marketing, Geology & Geosciences, Water, Land, Corporate Strategy, Supply Chain Management, Business Development, and Accounting.
Essential Functions:
Work with all groups to identify, forecast, and enter into models all assumptions necessary to accurately forecast capital, production, revenue and costs
Supports all corporate and field operators with cost and production analysis, economic analyses of special projects and investment opportunities, and various process optimization analyses to help improve profitability
Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and is expected to present to ?large audiences including senior management
Required Skills and Experience
Master?s degree + 2 years working experience or Bachelor?s degree + 5 years of progressive working experience is required. Degree in engineering, business, or energy related field is preferred
Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Databases, Crystal Ball, Visual Basic and macro development experience preferred
