We?re looking for a Project Controls Manager to support the International Business Unit ? we need a Project Controls Manager who isn?t afraid to challenge the norm.
The Project Controls Manager will be responsible for:
? Creating and implementing project processes for tracking project costs and schedule in liaison with discipline leads, project forecasting, budget monitoring, progress monitoring, schedule updating, and analysis and implementation of project controls.
? Providing guidance to the project services team in maintaining the execution of consistent, accurate, and timely reporting on a continual basis.
? Coordinating meetings and reviews with the project SCM team including contracts and legal if required.
? Verifying appropriate project controls requirements are included in contracts prior to being sent for bid.
? Creating progress measurement plan specific to NAMS phase with attention to contracts and requirements of the project.
? Communicating challenges from contractors to project managers.
? Verifying timely and accurate reporting.
? Coordinating progress measurement activities within the project controls team.
? Verifying the contractors adhere to progress measurement requirements as defined by the agreement.
? Accounting for the accuracy of cost and schedule estimates used for risk models.
? Reviewing the quality and accuracy of the risk model.
? Validating contract, scope, cost, and schedule change management.
? Establishing vendor engagement protocol at project inception.
? Conducting maintenance of SO/PO contract logs and coordinates any needs with SCM.
? Performing all the duties of PCC/PLP if none are assigned to the project.
BACKGROUND:
The ideal Project Controls Manager will have:
? 10 ? 15 years of experience.
? BS in a related field.
? Good working experience with SAP and Primavera.
