| We are currently hiring project schedulers to support an upcoming contract with the United States Census Bureau in Suitland, MD. Schedulers will work in a large team environment on an IT project that is of critical importance to the organization. Candidates should have knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera as well as hands-on experience scheduling with these tools. The projected start date for this position is July 2015. We are flexible on base salary and will ultimately offer what is appropriate based on rates of the contract; skill and experience level of the individual.
Task Areas: Assisting in implementing and maintaining large and complex project schedules, using both Oracle Primavera P6 Release 8.3 and Microsoft Project Server 2010/2013 Assisting with the updating/statusing of program and project schedules Assisting lead project planner/scheduler in preparing for project progress reports and ad hoc schedule reports Professional Skills: Experience supporting Schedule Management Minimum of a bachelor?s degree Knowledge of both MS Project and Primavera scheduling tools PMP, PSP, or PMI-SP certification strongly preferred Equal Opportunity employer.
