  Job Description:            
    We are currently hiring a Project Management Specialist to provide support on a large project with the United States Census Bureau in Suitland, MD. This project supports the Decennial Management Division (DMD) in a committed team effort conducting a census that costs less per housing unit than the 2010 census, all while maintaining high-quality results.

The Project Management Specialist will work in a dynamic team environment consisting of project schedulers, budgeting specialists, risk management specialists, earned value specialists, and other professionals. The Project Management Specialist will need to possess a versatile skill set in order to provide support on many different aspects of the project. Duties will range from administrative tasks such as holding staff meetings to hands-on technical tasks such as risk analysis and project scheduling.

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working in support of government contracts, preferably in an IT environment.

Experienced facilitating project logistics such as meetings, conference calls, etc.

Experienced performing work related to earned value management (EVM).

Skilled in budgeting, risk analysis, and performing a variety of administrative tasks.

Skilled in project scheduling using MS Project, Primavera, or similar tool(s)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, master's preferred.

PMP certification is preferred.
