The Crude Oil Scheduler will be responsible to manage Pipeline product inventory and storage utilization for assigned location(s) by scheduling product movements with customers, pipeline personnel and transportation department to meet customer demands while providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. At the same time must maintain focus on stock targets and product quality assurance, work closely with the Raw Materials department, coordinates and implements corrective actions to mitigate impact of unplanned disruptions. Responsible for API gravity samples and month end close outs.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree, prefer in Business Management and 2-4 years related experience or equivalent education and experience
General knowledge or experience in the petroleum industry or field operations is preferred.
Proficiency inventory control experience is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of geographic sections and operational effectiveness of the pipeline sections in their area of responsibility is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Word, excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively with periodic supervisory guidance.
This position requires someone who can work well under pressure and can handle multiple tasks at once
Excellent organizational, quantitative and analytical skills are also critical to be successful in this position. This position required someone who has the ability to visualize inventory while considering client needs, weather conditions, product shortages, competitor?s actions, etc
Since this position includes contact with customers and field managers, excellent communication skills are required in order to be successful in this position.
