| BlackRock Resources is looking for a Senior Estimator for their client in Charleston, WV. The Senior Estimator will collaborate with project team resources to translate project scope, schedule, and risks into project cost estimates. The Estimator will support capital investment programs including infrastructure modernization initiatives, market expansion projects, and sustaining maintenance projects.
Essential Responsibilities: ? Deliver project estimates through collaboration across functional and regional boundaries with Engineering, Supply Chain, Land, Environmental Permitting, Project Controls, Construction, and Project Management. ? Consult with Engineering and Project Teams to maximize cost efficiency and minimize risk through definition and refinement of project scope and construction methodology. ? Work collaboratively to continuously improve project cost estimating processes and tools. Develop, maintain and utilize project cost data and metrics ensuring continuous improvement in cost estimating. Selection Criteria ? Bachelor's degree required; Engineering or Construction Management degree strongly preferred. ? 5 yrs. natural gas pipeline industry experience required, with demonstrable experience in cost estimating. Engineering and construction experience also strongly considered. |
