Position Summary:
BlackRock LLC is looking for a Supervisor of Gas Scheduling. This position is responsible for scheduling, confirming, and monitoring daily imbalances for the gas assets. Analyst duties to include special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
? Performs routine and non-routine natural gas scheduling, & gas allocation duties under general supervision, on all Company natural gas pipelines.
? Confirms and schedules customer nominations for REM gas assets in compliance with contractual provisions, tariff, timing and procedures.
? Collects and monitors electronic flow measurement data for REM receipt and delivery points and adjusts nominations in order to minimize imbalances.
? Monitors pipeline electronic bulletin boards for critical information including operational restrictions and communicates pertinent information to operational personnel and management.
? Reviews and verifies gas supply and transportation invoices to ensure accuracy and resolves discrepancies with the accounting department.
? Tracks imbalances with shippers and takes appropriate actions as necessary; manages imbalances at points of interconnect with other pipelines under operational balancing agreements.
? Monitors nominated vs. flowing volumes to address variances on company owned and 3rd party systems.
? Resolves volume discrepancies with pipelines and midstream.
? Tracks Shipper Imbalances and minimizes exposure to REM.
? Has a working knowledge of pipeline operations (including, but not limited to, constraints, interconnects, and balancing rules)
? Familiar with midstream balancing.
? Assist in managing gas transportation contracts to include: set-up of contracts in gas transportation system(s), enter tariff and discounted reservation, commodity, imbalance cash out, and administrative rates; manage curing of gas imbalances through trades and cash outs; runs processes to generate invoices; and responds to customer inquiries.
? Identify and extract pertinent contract information, data, documents, or materials needed to support management requirements and objectives.
? Assist Contract Administration to resolve bill and payment discrepancies; further escalates issues to management as appropriate.
? Partners effectively with various departments, and performs other projects as needed.
? Writes and verbalizes effectively and understands written communications, including but not limited to email.
? Other daily, weekly and monthly duties as assigned. Ensures the successful flow of natural gas production
? Prepares daily and monthly reports as required.
Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree in related discipline.
? Scheduling experience and oil/gas industry experience preferred.
? Microsoft Office skills required, including Excel knowledge.
? Must be able to be on-call in evenings and on a rotating weekend schedule.
? Candidate must possess excellent communication skills and organizational skills with a fine attention to detail.
