Mountain View, CA Posted: 1/30/2015 Category: Scheduler Job Type: Contractor Minimum Experience: 10+ Required Education: - Benefits: 401k W/O Matching Dental Medical Job Description Job # 4005: Senior P6 Scheduler The Spear Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior P6 Scheduler for a large client conducting many Data Center EPC/Construction projects and additions. Location: Mountain View, CA Responsibilities: Will be using Primavera P6 scheduling software Managing construction schedules for underground construction projects Work with the other members of the EPC contracting teams Adjust schedules as necessary to model fieldlevel constraints and potential changes to schedules due to field changes Perform weekly quality control analysis on EPC provide schedules including Client's Controls Manager Run, review, QC and disperse weekly, monthly and project close out reports Provide modeling for whatif scenarios and rootcause analysis of issues surrounding P6 Train client personnel on Primavera P6 Job Requirements 5-10 years of Primavera P6 Scheduling experience in construction/EPC Must work well in a team environment and be self-motivated, responsible and reliable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to plan, organize, budget and monitor progress necessary to evaluate performance against plans. Adequate computer skills and knowledge of problems to support job functions. Ability to multi-task and perform multiple projects at the same time Preferred: Bachelor?s degree in business related study. Experience with Primavera P6v.8 Work Management and project management experience. Prior experience with Underground Construction preferred Prior experience in Fiber Optic and/or Telecommunication industry preferred |
