Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Austin Construction Management group as a Senior Scheduler.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
Provide scheduling and cost estimating services a member of the Atkins North America project controls practice.
Support clients with the review and analysis of construction schedules and serve as an internal resource to project managers in the development of schedules and cost estimates, primarily for transportation projects.

Provide baseline and monthly schedule update reviews for construction projects utilizing the latest versions of industry standard scheduling software. Perform time impacts analyses for change order requests and delay claim evaluations. Prepare detailed reports of findings. Support the production of project design schedules and construction time determinations. Develop conceptual through final project cost estimates for transportation projects.
Perform value engineering and constructability reviews from a planning and scheduling perspective.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with ten years relevant experience; nine years experience required with Master's degree; or twelve years experience in project control or cost analysis with an Associates Degree.

Special Skills
Good conceptual design skills and the ability to communicate ideas to management and clients both orally and in writing. Very high level of analytical ability and technical writing is required.

Professional Registration
PSP and/or PMP certification preferred.

Additional Requirements
Extensive experience and proficiency with Primavera (P3 and P6) and Microsoft Project and schedule analyzing tools such as Acumen Fuse and Claim Digger is required. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload assignments while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality work. Function independently with minimal supervision. Actively participate in professional organizations for the purposes of career development and marketing.
