  Job Description:            
    We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Scheduler for a position on a school construction program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews Contractor?s Baseline schedule submissions and provides narrative.
Performs QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract. Reviews critical path, cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints and milestones
Performs schedule impact analysis for contractor change orders and conducts schedule negotiations for contractor change orders
Performs Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis
Tracks and gets involved in project issues as they relate to project schedules
Walks the field, checks the contractor?s weekly and monthly schedule progress and provides reports to the project OAR and upper management
Reads drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope, and understands terms and conditions of the contract to determine compensability, as well as concurrent delays
Proactively anticipates schedule impacts and advises Project Team concerning the same
Effectively communicates with the Contractor regarding all schedule/progress related matters and concerns in the weekly status meetings and all other schedule related meetings
Reviews, evaluates, and rejects or approves contractor recovery schedules
Prepares reports as needed and directed by Management
Performs status updates to Program Schedule/Master Schedule
Communicates with Project Team and Leadership
Performs Program Schedule QA/QC reviews and updates
Creates project Ad hoc project schedules as requested

REQUIREMENTS
15 years full time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling, preferably in educational facility or public works project
Possess a working knowledge of architectural and engineering workloads
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior organization and planning skills
Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Bachelor?s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
Proficiency in Primavera Project Planner (P3)
Experience with Primavera 5.0 or 6.0 preferred
