Precision?s personnel are routinely involved with projects in power plants, refineries, energy plants and industrial facilities from coast to coast. We provide personnel for contract staffing, direct placement positions and managed resource programs.
Precision Resource Company is accepting applications for Project Controls Manager position at the Midwest Regional Office located in Mt. Carmel, IL. The Project Controls Manager position is responsible for providing project management with Quantity, Earned Value progress, Cost and Cost Forecast information in order to make the best decisions possible to achieve project goals. The Project Controls Manager oversees several key project functions, which require accurate reporting of cost and cost projections, production of timely and accurate data, and delivery of key documentation to field supervision. Information produced under the direction of the Project Controls Manager is typically analyzed with recommendations developed prior to wider communication to project and corporate management. Position Responsibilities: ? Calculates bid versus actual reported by field supervision to assemble progress data. ? Maintains and updates project schedule, budget and cost data for management's review. ? Assists project management in analyzing project progress and cost trends and identifying and eliminating potential conflicts. ? Assists management in developing alternative work schedules as required due to weather conditions, client/owner, manpower, change orders, etc. ? Communicates schedule information to craft supervision to ensure compliance with project management and client/owner requirements. ? Assist craft in the planning of work packages. ? Utilizes Project Controls Systems (SAP, P6 & CMIS) for reports scheduling and other duties. (Must master one Project Controls System.) ? Defines cost codes for labor, materials, supplies, equipment and subcontracts. ? Researches and resolves all problems in a timely manner. Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: ? 5 years related industrial experience preferred ? Experience in construction industry, preferred Industrial Power Plants ? Experience in management ? Very effective organizational skills ? Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors ? Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred ?
