Project Controls position to support development and maintenance of resource loaded Critical Path Method (CPM) project schedules. Directly responsible for planning, scheduling, and progressing multiple capital projects. Establish and maintain project master schedule with accurate interdependencies, resources, deliverables and milestones. Leads planning sessions to ensure all parties understand their portion of the schedule and its' interfaces with others. Responsible for reporting schedule progress and critical schedule item. Understand project schedule risks, able to identify and provide mitigation suggestions and assist in preparation and maintenance of the Project Risk Register. Audit contractor's earned value and reporting systems. Will work jointly with Project Managers, Discipline Leads, Construction Managers, and construction contractors.
High skilled user of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Project. Knowledgeable user of Excel, Word and Access. Intimate knowledge of planning and scheduling practices and understands work flows of Engineering, Procurement, and construction in the chemical/petrochemical/industrial business area. Skilled at analyzing and reporting schedule performance and trending. The ability to handle multiple priorities is needed. Excellent written and oral communication, analytical and planning skills required.
