Harvest Technical Services is seeking a Project Controls Engineer for our San Francisco Bay Area Biotech client.
Duties
Works with the SSFP Process & Project Engineering department and the SSFP IMPACT portfolio manager to ensure data accuracy in Unifier and Primavera for the SSFP IMPACT portfolio.
Initial setup of projects in Unifier (scope sheet, team data) works with project managers in SSFP to update cashflows, milestone dates, and budget/spend information in Unifier meets monthly with each PM to review & update Unifier & Primavera resource data performs ad hoc adjustments throughout month per project manager requests engages with site engineering and PTEA resources to ensure SSFP projects are updated in Unifier & Primavera (resources) project manager support schedule template, forecast of projects to support portfolio manager manages Primavera resource data (resource names, project information) supports CAPEX forecasting process (T0, MYO, T3) generating business object reports for SSFP IMPACT and finance review:
Project Monthly Reports, portfolio health, budget status, stage gate for portfolio, Primavera resource report (monthly), creating new reports as business needs warrant.
Skills
Extensive practical and theoretical understanding of project controls tools and methodologies.
Good knowledge of engineering disciplines, estimating, scheduling, procurement and contracts. Common corporate Microsoft tools, SAP, will learn Unifier cost management on the job.
Spanish language skills a plus.
Travel required.
Education
BS Preferred.
5 years experience minimum working on engineering & construction projects preferably in Bio Industry. Strong computer skilled required
