| We are currenty looking for a P6 Scheduler for Refinery work in the Chicagoland area. The Scheduler will be responsible for, but not limited to completing the following duties/responsibilites:
?Develop a work plan, input the plan into P6 Primavera ?Develop detailed cost estimates. Order materials ?Assist Management Team in preparing current and long turnaround and unit outage plans ?Oversee the planning, execution and post turnaround work scope within the assigned turnaround area in terms of Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Budget (man hours, duration, cost and validating activity/scope sequencing) ?Seek out and advocate innovative approached to reduce Total Installed Costs(TIC) ?Perform annualized cost justifications as required ?Regulary coordinate and lead the overall work in their area, through the collaborating, direction, setting, and buy in with assigned Operations Supervisor, Contractor Supervisors, Unit Engineers, Safety Supervisor, Inspectors, support contractors, etc. such that the work in their area achieves schedule and cost ?Ensure that the turnaround plan is fully intergrated with all other portions of Refienry practices and with the contruction plans for other capital projects ?Analyze work requests, establish estimates, and recommend methodology, equipment and material requirements ?Develop and complete turnaround deliverables identified in the turnaround plan, in a timeframe supportive of turnaround schedule and milestone tracker ?Know, understand and champion the scope change approval process. Be the point of contact of all scope changes or inspection repair requests within their area. Challenge all scope changes post scope freeze ?Review, administer and oversee contractors/contracts that will be used for executing work in the area ?Participate in daily work planning and safety meetings with the General Contractor and other key disciplines ?Oversee General Contractor and ensures he works in a safe, efficient, productive manner per contact ?Coordinate and validate GC's 100% completion and quality of jobs within their area before turning over to Operations for start-up. Insure the completion of all check-off sheets ?Oversee and manage demobilization of GC ?Experienced Refinery/Petro Chemical Turnaround Manger with proven track record using Primavera required |
