  Job Description:            
    PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVE:
To perform routine and complex analytical duties that supports Engineering Services Project Teams, the
CML, Growth and maintenance construction programs.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in project scheduling. A candidate must have served in a leadership role managing project schedules and working directly with construction contractor?s schedules. The ability to communicate within a project team environment and experience with the critical path methodology of schedule analysis is a must.


Must be proficient in the use of various software: Powerplant, NiSource Team Workplace, ProTool,
MeetingPlace, PeopleSoft Data Warehouse, Maximo, FOCUS, BuySource, Lotus Notes, Sametime,
ERS, Workbrain, and MS Office; prefer familiarity with MS Visio and MS Project; will learn the
functionality of new applications as required,
Will evaluate Completion Report and reconcile the materials & costs.
Maintain records to gather all pertinent information and data necessary to create a comprehensive
Completion Report package to meet FERC, DOT and company guidelines,
Will be able to read and understand construction drawings and maps.
Generate and input ProTool WIN forms, Scope Changes & update Present Estimates.
Create Present Estimates or Cost Comparisons as required during a project life cycle; download data
from various applications into spreadsheet, use pivot tables to manipulate data and perform higher-level
mathematical analysis; perform in-depth project financial analysis and explain variances; independently
performs analysis and prepares non-routinelcustom reports to answer non-routine questions.
Set up and participate in Lotus Notes meetings and conferences, and Sametime sessions.
Verify and process invoices, pay certificates, Retalriage, etc. for payment; create method to track
vendor invoices, Change Orders, Service Authorizations, Purchase Orders, Retainage, and
Reimbursements to assure adherence to agreed upon payments, schedules and terms.
Maintain an In-depth database on the status of all projects during the project life cycle
Interact Icornmunicate effectively with others groups (CGT Material Coordinators, Mciunkin, vendors,
etc.) to track material availability.

Responsibilities
? Support Engineering and Construction Group with scheduling duties for large scale capital expansions of the pipeline system.
? Monitor and evaluate project schedules through interaction with the Project Manager, Project Team Leads and Project Controls Group in the Construction phase of a project?s lifecycle.
? Prepare weekly and monthly schedule status reports and other project specific reports as requested by the Project Manager and the Project Team.
? Evaluate impacts of project scope changes on project schedules.
? Identify variances from the project baselines and assist with schedule analysis to mitigate schedule delays.
? Assist in the review of Contractor schedule documents for construction of compressor / pipeline facilities.
? Participate in weekly construction meetings to provide written analysis of Contractor schedule documents.
Skills and Experience
? Five (5)+ years experience in project scheduling.
? Ability to work within a project team environment.
? Organizational skills required to simultaneously manage multiple project schedules.
? Proficiency with Microsoft Project schedule software.
? Experience with scheduling of large scale engineering and construction projects (linear pipeline projects, multiple facilities (compression/metering) and multiple construction spreads).
? Willingness to travel within the Central United States in support of the TEAM 2014 project.
NOTE:
1. Candidates absolutely need to be proficient in the use of MS Project as exhibited by test scores. (Candidates to be tested in advance of being submitted for consideration and scores proved.)
2. Candidates will provide:
a. Resume highlighting Pipeline and/or Compression Experience.
b. MS Project Schedule for Pipeline or Compressor Stations in their native MS Project format.
