Work Location: Foot of Hackensack Ave. (Will travel Statewide)

Accountable for development of cost & scheduling responsibilities relating to daily and pre-outage planning, scope development, work packages, work breakdown structure for budgeting purposes and overall outage schedule and implementation. The duties include interaction with the SMD & CMS supervision, contractors and station personnel in the scoping development, work package development, assignment of resources, input to the yearly Resources Allocation budget process. Other critical duties are outage implementation which includes project status reports, utilization of project control tools for tracking purposes, assist in risk assessment, contingency planning, and generation of status reports including the project final close-out reports. During the implementation phase perform critical path assessment, trending, assist in change control process, track field changes and develop input to closeout report. Develop and coordinate short and long term maintenance schedules with all station departments, SMD, CMS, Projects, and other external resources. Manage the accuracy and completeness of maintenance work history and associated activity costs and compile database to be used for future outage estimates including schedule durations. In addition, the individual will have a key role in updating the 36-month plan including all status on a monthly bases. Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards of Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls.
Job Requirements
Knowledge of PSEG Power system processes is essential.
Must have PC skills, formal training in SAP & associated modules.
Primavera (P6) and project management techniques.
Practical working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations required for safe work environment.
Required to have a high school degree and experience in the power industry.
Required to have experience in developing work packages at a power plant or similar facility.
Develops work packages and project schedules with input/ assistance of other project team members, updating project schedules on a regular basis, performing resource loading as required.
