San Diego, CA Posted: 3/10/2014 Category: Scheduler Job Type: - Minimum Experience: 10+ Required Education: - Benefits: - Job Description Job #3675: Scheduler - Gas Pipeline Construction Projects Job Title Scheduler Location Southern California Primary Job Responsibilities Managing schedule on Southern California Gas Pipeline Construction projects utilizing best practice methods including: ? Plan and manage detailed CPM design and construction planning schedules. ? Manage and analyze labor hour resources, equipment resources and cost-loaded schedules. ? Review and recommend schedule durations for discipline activities. ? Establish and monitor variances and float from project baseline and critical path. ? Identify mitigation strategies and propose corrective action plans. ? Conduct reviews of third-party schedules. ? Identify and evaluate project change. ? Present and report project schedule status. The ideal candidate would: ? Contribute to development of new techniques and standards. ? Develop processes that require innovation and ingenuity. ? Be capable to perform and manage work with limited direction and supervision. ? Provide supervision and support to project team members. ? Have considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. ? Be a consultant to management and spokesperson for organization on major matters. Job Requirements Training and Experience ? Relevant BS degree or related experience required. ? Primavera P6 intermediate/advanced user. 10+ years of scheduling experience required on major construction projects, Gas pipeline engineering/construction experience preferred, |
