Albeit glad to see your enthusiasm, I would suggest that you inquire of those who have been in the profession a long time an even more important question: "What is it LIKE to be employed as a scheduler?" You may receive some very valuable insight regarding the rigors of remaining employed as one, especially if you have concerns with supporting a family with this occupation for many years into the future. I will suggest that someone very young will not have a reasonable assessment of the career choice.
